The Control Freak is the evolution of the Lensbaby 3G, an ideal selective focus lens for tabletop and macro photography. You can compress and bend the lens to find your desired Sweet Spot, and then lock it in place with the push of a button. Once locked, you can fine focus using the barrel focusing ring and fine tune the tilt with the Control Freak’s three metal posts.

All Lensbaby lenses bring one area of a photo into sharpest focus with that Sweet Spot surrounded by gradually increasing blur. Photographers focus the Muse by compressing the lens and move the sweet spot by bending the flexible lens tubing.

The Lensbaby 0.6X wide angle lens converts your Lensbaby's 50mm focal length to 30mm, while keeping the Sweet Spot the same size as a Lensbaby photo taken without a wide angle conversion lens. Other wide angle conversion lenses shrink the sweet spot.
You can unscrew the rear lens element for use as a macro lens that focuses as close as 2" to 3" from your subjects.
The wide angle lens is the sharpest wide angle conversion lens we have tested with a Lensbaby.
